We don’t waste time talking about training that doesn’t pertain to your dog. We train where the problems happen- at the park, in the car, in your neighborhood or at home. The club's outreach has grown considerably since the early days.
Do dogs like being trained?
Board and training involves intensive training with our expert trainers. You will leave your puppies or dogs with us, and we will care for them to make a well-trained and well-behaved dog. Today’s technology makes this a perfect option for those outside our service area, or for anyone wishing to ensure that the bond with their dog is directly related to them and not the trainer. During virtual training we demonstrate the techniques, watch and assist you while you and your dog learn together. In-Home Dog Training programs are popular with owners who would prefer not to travel each week for training.

Empowering Owners
At the time Gracie was 4 months old and I was working with her on basic commands and off leash walking. Although Gracie was progressing I knew she needed professional training if she was to achieve her Canine Good Citizen Certificate and become a Certified Therapy Dog. We were blown away by the transformation that the Board & Train program brought about for our puppy Penny. We interviewed several companies, but after speaking with Rebecca we knew we had found the help we were looking for. Penny was 6 months when she began her Board & Train adventure. We dropped off a puppy who had no clue how to walk on a leash, was always jumping in people’s faces, could not focus on much of anything, and loved to eat everything on the ground.
Private Lessons
We put in the work so that your dog will listen and obey your commands even under the most distracting of environments. Whether you are looking for a well-behaved pet or a furry companion to take exploring with you; it’s important that your dog is not only obedient, but confident and enthusiastic in working with you. Our experts always evaluate your puppy's needs and then address the problem in the training. It includes Housebreaking, Play Biting, Chewing, Stealing, Food Barking, and others. We believe in refining your dog’s comprehension of obedience so that it becomes a way of life for them, not just a few tricks they can show off when they are in the mood. Before making any recommendations, we need to evaluate your dog’s needs.
Dog Training Programs and Pricing in Charlotte, NC
We sent our 3 year old boxer mix rescue, wild-man, Charlie, to Love in the Lead for a three week board and train program. Charlie was reactive to strangers and other dogs, a professional counter surfer and pantry raider, and would pull so hard on the leash walking him was unbearable – just to name a few things. We couldn’t trust him around people or food so he had to be in his kennel often.
